Foremost Non-profit Organization in Stone Mountain
Based in Stone Mountain, the Refugee Missionary Organization focuses on enriching members of the refugee community with the Word of God through customized bible classes and conventional preaching sessions. Addressing the spiritual aspect of the refugee life, our hope is to follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, who nourished the people both spiritually and physically. Our objectives are motivated by our desire to share in the generosity of God by following his commands and adhering to the Great Commission of evangelizing and teaching the Word, as indicated in Matthew 28:19 -20 and Romans 9: 13-15.
Refugee Missionary Corporation non-profit organization was founded by Leonard Imkossa, a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo. During his experience as a pastor in the refugee camps of Tanzania, Leonard recognized the need for local churches to be equipped and trained in how to minister to the needs of war-torn refugee communities. Leonard now leads a training school in Tanzania for pastors and ministers to be equipped for how to represent the love of Jesus Christ to those in desperate need.
After immigrating to America as a refugee, Leonard Msebengi reorganized his need to establish training schools for pastors and ministers back home in Tanzania. His aim is to equip church es with Biblical knowledge in how to show the love of Christ in a refugee context.
