Lead Visionary

The vision of this organization was conceptualized and birthed by Mr. Mkossa when he was still in Bible School in 2017. He was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC, but previously known as Zaire). However, he had to move away from his homeland into Uganda in 1996, at the onset of the civil wars in DRC. He later moved to Nairobi, Kenya before being relocated and resettled in the U.S by the UN program. 
Mr. Mkossa developed a passion for the refugee community because of his personal experiences as a refugee and in working with this community. When he was in Bible School in 2017, he felt that he needed to start an organization that would help him continue with the refugee community work he has been part of for most of his life. Although it has taken him almost half a decade to actualize this dream, we are glad that it is now a reality. He has worked with various organizations and individuals in the mobilization and engagement of refugees; thus, he knows the spiritual, physical and psychological needs of members of this community and he understands what can be done to improve the quality of their lives.
